It’s all gone a bit quiet on the Yan Diomande front over the last few days as RB Leipzig brace for a new Liverpool FC bid and the player prepares to play Cote d’Ivoire’s final group stage game and secure a place in the knockout rounds at the 2026 World Cup.
A new report from SportBild today has some new details on the current situation, though, claiming:
- RB Leipzig have received signals that LFC are willing to offer €100M + € 20M add-ons for their next offer.
- RB Leipzig want to delay to see how much his value can rise while at the World Cup.
- Diomande’s agency RocNation is applying pressure for RB Leipzig to accept LFC offer.
The winds certainly seem to be blowing in Liverpool’s direction, but ultimately it will come down to Leipzig accepting a fee. If the player is pushing for the move, though, well that’s always a good sign and now we wait to see if Liverpool can push through a transfer agreement with his club in the coming days.
