Welsh international Ceri Holland has won the 2025-26 Player of the Season Award for the 2025-26 season, with Beata Olsson and Fuka Nagano placing second and third. She had previously been named in the Player’s Player of the Season.

The midfielder had 27 appearances in all competitions this season, recording four goals and eight assists. Though the WSL season was one to forget, the Reds did make a cup run, reaching the semi-finals in the Adobe FA Cup.

Though the season as a whole was a mixed bag (to put it mildly), few would argue against Holland’s performances: the midfielder was one of the few consistent positives, with her professionalism, talent, and consistency making her more than deserving of honors.

This season she also showed her versatility, playing in a wide forward role that asked different things of her than previous experience as a more traditional midfielder. Among her highlights this season was a goal-of-the-season contender against Everton at Goodison Park.
