Celtic clinched the league title on the final day of the season after defeating Heart of Midlothian 3-1 in a dramatic encounter.
Coming into the match, Celtic needed a victory to secure the title, while Hearts only required a draw to become champions.
Hearts looked set to frustrate Celtic after taking the lead in the 43rd minute when Lawrence Shankland headed the ball into the net from a corner.
Just two minutes later, Celtic were awarded a highly controversial penalty after Alexandros Kyziridis was judged to have handled the ball inside the box, despite his hand appearing to be close to his body.
Arne Engels stepped up and converted the penalty to level the score.
It marked Celtic’s second consecutive match receiving a controversial penalty decision.
In their previous game against Motherwell, Celtic were awarded a last-minute penalty that also sparked debate, with Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho scoring from the spot.
On Saturday, Celtic continued to push forward in search of the winning goal and eventually found the breakthrough late in the game.
In the 87th minute, Daizen Maeda scored to put Celtic ahead, but the goal immediately generated further controversy as Callum Osmand appeared to be in an offside position.
However, VAR gave the green light and ruled the goal onside.
In stoppage time, Osmand added another goal to seal a 3-1 victory and confirm Celtic as league champions.

Against Hearts, he came on in the second half and made a strong impact on the game.
The forward was an instant improvement to Celtic’s attack and also contributed defensively.
