Recall that in a June 2019, Busola Dakolo, a celebrity photographer, had accused 
Fatoyinbo of raping her when she was a teenager. The pastor denied the allegation and, after outrage on social media and protests, surrendered himself to the police for questioning. He made an appearance at the Force Criminal Investigation Division (FCID) of the Nigeria Police in Abuja on Tuesday, August 27. Fatoyinbo also stepped aside as the senior pastor of the church for investigations to be carried out, although he has since returned to the altar.
The second key witness for Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) who is accused of raping Mrs. Busola Fatoyinbo showed up and wrote his statement at the Force Criminal Investigations Department in Garki on Wednesday.

A source said that the witness who is a pastor was questioned by the investigators led by ACP Adaku Anya before he put down everything in writing. It would be recalled that Pastor Fatoyinbo was on Tuesday invited and quizzed for over 8 hours on allegation that he twice raped the tender Busola Dakolo about 20 years ago. He was later granted bail same Tuesday night
