Team Nigeria’s Blessing Oborududu has booked her place in the final of Women’s 68kg Freestyle wrestling at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics Games.
The 32-year-old defeated Soronzonboldyn Battsetseg of Mongolia in the semi-final, on Monday morning to reach the final.
The commonwealth champion dominated the match from the start and left the mat with 7-2 victory.
She Manolova Elis of Azerbaijan 13-2 in her first match, before beating Zhumanazarova Meerim 3-2 in the quarter-finals.
Oborududu has now reached the final of the Olympics for the first time in her career.
